Please Note: We get asked a lot how do I use this properly and is it good for greasy pots and pans? We make this using coconut oil which has the best properties for hard water and grease cutting, we have added sodium bicarbonate to help soften the water so the food and grease can wash off quicker and added essential oils (lemongrass + eucalyptus and lavender + peppermint) for their grease cutting and amazing smell. Any bar soap will not work as well as well-known brands of dish liquid but in saying that, there is a trick to hand-washing dishes using bar soap. Rinse your dishes after washing and wash greasy pots and pans last. The trick is as a splash of vinegar to your rinse water. If you have not got 2 sinks, use a tub or bucket (this can go on the garden), if your water is really oily, empty sink, wipe out and run a fresh sink, as hot as you can.
